Vincent Medical Holdings Limited (“Vincent Medical” or together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”, stock code: 1612) noted that Medtronic plc (“Medtronic”) donated a batch of medical equipment to Huoshenshan hospital in Wuhan, in order to tackle the outbreak of 2019-nCoV (or “2019 Novel Coronavirus”). Notably, Medtronic’s hospital use ventilators that were sent to Wuhan aiming to meet the huge demands for respiratory-related products from local hospitals were paired with the humidifiers and other accessories of Inspired Medical, the Group’s house brand.
In addition, with the early resumption of manufacturing of a range of medical supplies during Chinese New Year by the Group, the Group supplies hospital use humidifiers and a series of related disposables to its customer – Jiangsu Yuyue Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (“Yuyue Medical”), in order to support Hubei government’s attempt for combating the coronavirus outbreak. In face of the shortage of medical resources, the Group will continue to collaborate with Yuyue Medical and strive to ensure the sufficient supply of medical equipment and supplies in the combat of coronavirus outbreak.
The Group is honored that “Inspired Medical” is chosen as the partner of Medtronic and Yuyue Medical in the provision of hospital use humidifiers and other supplies. The Group wishes that these products will contribute to the medical treatment of patients who are diagnosed with 2019 Novel Coronavirus in Wuhan.
