Vincent Medical Holdings Limited (“Vincent Medical” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”, stock code: 1612), a China-rooted, global-focused medical device and solutions provider, is pleased to announce that the groundbreaking ceremony of the R&D and production facility in Kaiping took place today, marking the start of its construction.
Mr. Xu Yongfeng, Vice Mayor of Kaiping City and Secretary of Cuishan Lake Party Working Committee, Mr. Zhou Chongjian, Deputy Secretary of Cuishan Lake Party Working Committee and Director of the management committee of Kaiping City, Mr. Vincent Choi, Chairman of Vincent Medical, Mr. Raymond Choi, CEO of Vincent Medical and Mr. Wu Tingjia, Chairman of Guangdong Jianbang Industrial Group Co., Ltd. attended today’s ceremony.
The land parcel situated in Area C, Tianhu 2nd Road North, Cuishanhu New District, Kaiping City, with a total site area of approximately 67,000 sq.m. and gross floor area of 150,000 sq.m. This new R&D and production facility will equip with automated production lines and serves as the R&D and production base of the Group. This is a major step towards the Group’s strategy of expanding in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
At the ceremony, Mr. Raymond Choi, CEO of Vincent Medical said, “The new R&D and production facility will enable the Group to diversity its manufacturing capabilities. I believe that the expanded capability brought about by the new production facility could also open up the possibility of new contract development and manufacturing services, deepening the collaboration with partners and solidify our position in the value chain.”
